- An Artist's Conception of the shed in 3 dimensions.
- Floor Plan - a bird's eye view looking down at the floor of the shed. Each stud is placed in the proper position in a scale drawing, as well as the swing of the door. What is included to support the floor and roof is also shown.
- Front Elevation: - a drawing of the front wall of the shed, showing the door opening, jamb, placement of studs and header, overhang, slope of roof joists, fascia, tarpaper, sheeting, siding and corner boards, foundation and floor.
- Side Elevation: - a drawing of the side walls of the shed, including placement of studs, floor joists and roof joists.
- Corner Stud Detail: - showing the overlap of the OSB and studs in a corner.
- Door Detail: - showing how to make you own door and jamb.
- Threshold: - showing how to make a threshold for the jamb.
- Prehung Door: - showing how to hang a door already in its jamb with shims against the door opening.
The instructions include the following topics:
- Wooden Floor: The wood foundation, the layout of the floor, size of joists, their centers, squaring the floor, how to install tongue and groove plywood, nailing pattern for the sheets.
- The Walls: Cutting the plates to size, with lengths of studs given and their layout for the door. How to construct the walls, square them and sheet them.
